A Fix A Test Schooling Show is great opportunity for horses and/or riders who are new to competing gain real show experience in a low key environment. It is also ideal for those who just what to improve their competition rides and work through imperfections they may encounter during the test. Each competitor will be scheduled 60 minute time slot with one other competitor who is doing the same test. This time slot includes riding the first test, receiving a critique and assistance from the judge on problem spots, immediately followed by the second test. Introductory test riders may be scheduled with a third competitor in their group.
Ribbons will be awarded through 6th place. Only the FIRST test will be scored. **A "Most Improved Test Score" prize will also be awarded.
Due to limited warm up space riders may come in to the main arena and warm up during the critique time period or the previous section. Riders will be scheduled in pairs, and will take turns riding their tests during their allotted time. All lunging will be in the covered round pen. If weather conditions allow, warm up will also be permitted in the outdoor area.
There will be a LECTURE and POT LUCK LUNCH at noon that is open to ALL on ‘Tips for Improving Your Ride and Scores”. If interested, please sign up as space is somewhat limited.
A 2018 Pure Gold Release must be on file.

$120.00 per 45 minute ride - includes clinic fee, clinician travel costs and lunch each day.
Auditors are welcome at NO cost, courtesy of the WPDA.
PAYMENT is due IN FULL no later than Friday, March 2nd. Please make your checks payable to the WPDA and mail to:

If you are unable to attend, it will be your responsibility to identify a replacement rider. No refunds will be provided for missed rides.
Full refunds would be provided if the clinic is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (weather or illness preventing the clinician from traveling).
Haul ins welcome
Silver Crest does NOT have available stalls, but there are plenty of cross ties to ready your horse. Additionally, a HEALTH CERTIFICATE and PROOF OF VACCINATION will be required prior to unloading.
About Britta Johnston
Britta Johnston is the Owner and Head Trainer of Britta Johnston International Sport Horses, LLC, offering training, instruction, sales, handling and importing services.
Britta began riding at the age of 6 in Germany, where she was trained in dressage, eventing, show jumping and vaulting. She earned her bronze medal at the age of 13, and her silver at the age of 16, from the German Riding Federation. Specializing in dressage, Britta has 30 years of experience in starting young horses and training them through to FEI Levels.
Britta returned to Germany in 2005 to train with Rudolph Zeilinger. In 2009, she was chosen by the WBFSH and the German Trakehner Verband to coach for the Young Breeders World Championships.
Britta trains throughout the world including England, China, Germany, the U.S., Canada and Brazil.

Stabling: $25 per day or $45 per night, regardless of arrival and departure times. Stabling for the entire weekend is $65. Stalls are wood with bar fronts and sliding doors. They measure approximately 12′ x 12′ and are located in a permanent barn. The barn offers water hydrants and electrical outlets throughout the barn, in addition to two wash rack areas.

Please note that USDF Intro, WDAA, and USEA tests will be run in a small ring. USEF Training, First, and Second level (and above) tests will be run in a standard size arena.
Competition arena will be in an all weather sand arena. Warm up ares will be designated and will include use of the indoor arena and the outdoor all weather arena. Warm up in grass is only permissible where indicated.
Lunging is only permissible in covered round pen.
Trailer parking is located behind our event barn on gravel. Overflow parking for daytime haul-ins will be in a designated grass parking area. Please listen to our parking personnel, as parking can be tight.
Car parking will be in the grass along the drive way. Please pull off of the drive way completely so trailers have enough room to pass by.
