The WPDA is proud to partner with the WaCART (Washington County Animal Response Team) to present this FREE clinic on horse and trailer safety with a special vet lecture on equine emergencies and when to call the vet with Allegheny Equine.

Topics will include:

• Overview of Large Animal Rescue (LAR) Team

• Incident Command / Horse Owner’s Role

• Working With Emergency Responders

• Using Emergency Harnesses and Halters

• Trailer Towing and Safety Precautions

• PLUS! Veterinary lecture on equine emergencies and when to call the vet

Meet Kristen

I'm an animal, yoga, pierogi lover and Yoga Therapist with over 13 years of experience teaching yoga as therapy..  I've spent my career acquiring knowledge to bring you the most up to date and informed techniques for your health and wellbeing in group and 1:1 classes.   

I teach yoga therapy in small groups and private sessions to help YOU find the missing piece of your wellness puzzle through physical, mental & emotional wellness support along this journey to feeling your best on the inside and out.

With my degree in Equestrian Studies,  I combine my love of riding and yoga to help equestrians and all athletes address their posture, biomechanics and ability to effectively communicate with their horse to address blind spots and achieve peak performance in the saddle.

Kristen Kolenda Yoga

The WPDA is excited to partner with Kristen Kolenda Yoga! Kristen leverages her degree in Equestrian Studies combined with her love of riding and yoga to help equestrians and all athletes address their posture, biomechanics and ability to effectively communicate with their horse to address blind spots and achieve peak performance in the saddle. 

Group sessions only. Schedule will be released two days prior to event.

Our bodies aren’t always straight and supple, yet we expect that from our horses! Kendra Clarke will help you work on your body for the benefit of your horse.

Kendra specializes in horse and rider biomechanics for students who train dressage, eventing, and hunter/jumper at all levels. She is a Level 2 Centered riding instructor and a licensed Franklin Method Equestrian Pelvic trainer.

Each session with Kendra will consist of a 45-minute mounted lesson focusing on rider position resulting in a plan of exercises for each rider to work on both on and off their horse.

April 30 - Greenmoor Equestrian Center

$120 for WPDA members
